Niagara Falls - NY

By the Niagara Falls I was just impressed, I loved it so much that I decided to even stay a little longer than planned. It was just a perfect combination, the water and the lovely parks and the nice people. I was staying in a great guesthouse that I can just recommend to anyone going to the Niagara Falls - very friendly and nice.



The Niagara River above the waterfalls is devided by goat island into an American and a Canadian side, here I am standing in front of the American rapids and in the back you can see the bridge to goat island. The water behind me is already past the point of no return, when entering this water a travel the falls down - which the majority of people trying not survived.




This is the Niagara River a calm huge river, who would think what is comming just in some feet distance....




It is just spectacular, the view, the noice, the moist - great, just watch the pics and ejnoy!




... and it is not just by chance called the rainbow maker...

Above you can see the american falls, below these there is a possibility to view the falls from underneath. A great view but due to the moist I was not able to take any pictures

Thats the Canadian side of the niagara falls, which is far more commercial than the American, I absolutly liked the American side better - and a great view you also get on the bridge between Canada and America.
